Lots of options out here. This time of year I like to go up in altitude. Four Peaks is a nice ride. When it cools off, the area east of RT 79 is really nice. Ajax Mine, The Coke Ovens along the Gila River, Mineral Mountain are over that way.
Do you have a trailer? I have a bike, but no way to trailer it yet.  I live up in northern Apache Junction and can ride up to the National Forest boundary and onto the trails there. Have ran from here all the way up to Four Peaks and back with a refueling stop at Saguaro Lake.
