I called DPS today since I haven't received my renewal, which was mailed in May 21. They said there were a couple of items that had not yet cleared on the background check and that I world receive a report in 7-10 days. Any ideas on what these could be, since nothing has charged in my life in the last 5 years, except that I am five years older?

Thanks My renewal took over 3 months the first time, then got sent back because I paid too much ($3 over). I had to fill out a form stating they could keep the $3 and sent it back in. Then it took another 2-3 weeks... |
| Yikes, a few years ago CCW renewalstook about a week, mailit in on Monday and get it back Friday. I know DPS got disgusted with the constant changes to the law and reassigned many CCW officers to other duties - didn't know it had gotten this bad! My first AZ CCW permit, (1994), took about a month or so, IIRC. |
