So I'm on my way home from work, pull up to a 3 way intersection and there is a car parked in the middle of the road. Trunk and doors are open, looks like a normal break down type situation. Man standing outside of the car yells "Don't do it, you're gonna go to jail". I'm wondering why I'm going to jail when I see movement next to my passenger side and look just in time to see a bright silver floor jack gliding like a bird towards my window. I hit the gas and the jack makes contact with the rear door leaving a nice hole in the door skin. I pulled through the intersection and of course the car and jack are long gone when I stop. So now I'm out an insurance deductible on a brand new car that I haven't even made a payment on yet.
What the fuck is wrong with people? For the expected Monday morning qb questions: Was not going to confront what was known to be at least 2 guys on an unlit back road by myself. Work on a military base so unarmed to/from work. Police took a report but don't expect to find anything helpful. |

More details? Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile Happened in Casa Grande approx 2045 last night. Yelling guy was on the backside of "disabled vehicle", jack thrower came from the passenger side (16-18 yo hispanic male). Not sure if just a jackass having a bad day and thought vandalizing someone else's property would make him feel better or the worlds worst attempt at a car jacking. What else ya wanna know? |
