| I was always told growing up that the weather had the most to do with the rut. If it starts getting cold earlier in the year (higher terrain of course), than the rut would happen sooner (like last week of September, first week of october) and if it stayed nice it would happen later (like mid-to late-october). The only way to know for sure was to go up there and stay a few nights to see and hear whats going on. |
