...is fine in the non-sterile areas and outside of the posted restaurants, right??? I really don't want to leave my gun in the parking garage. I googled and everything that comes back is 2-5 years old. |

I have carried there without issue and have never seen any signs, and I looked carefully. |

I thought I remembered seeing some transparency sticky signs on the sliding doors by the ground level ticketing counters awhile back. When I went earlier this week through the parking garage I didn't see anything and I was looking. I was by myself so I just kept on trucking, but tonight I have to take the kiddo...I don't want him to see Dad get cuffed while a big black Malinois chews my bawls off. |

Heh I got treated like that with a military ID and a set of military orders in hand. It wasn't over something I did it was over something my wife did on accident but they weren't happy when I wouldn't let them get crazy with my wife with the searches and what not. Phoenix PD intervened and told the TSA to chill out. A few months later out of the blue ad without warning I got a bill for 3000.00 dollars... So I called them and asked them which news network they wanted to be on for hassling a veteran. A year later and a shit ton of letters and calls back and fourth with their lawyer we got the bill down to 50.00 dollars. |

Quoted: Sounds like a penalty for disobeying tsa demands. I've heard of these fines a few times, but never known anyone to actually get hit with one. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile That is exactly what it was, my wife is a 115lb excited and smiley blonde lady who is nice to everyone she meets. So pretty much the exact opposite of any known description of any terrorist, she was with her husband who had military ID and military orders but the TSA wanted to get fuckin crazy. I walked right over their "security line" and told them no to everything. Keep in mind the two "agents" that were giving us problems were a 5'5 chubby guy who hadn't seen the light of day in 3 years and an old lady when things got bad they called a supervisor over who was the same amount of worthless. We were on our way to a yellow ribbon ceremony and I also had paperwork for my wife for that as well but we got treated like common criminals. If Phoenix PD had not come over I would have been one of those guys you see on youtube except I'm not some meek soccer mom and luckily the TSA knew that and that slowed them down a lot. It's scary to think what might have happened if my wife was flying alone or I wasn't there to tell the TSA to back the fuck off. The Phoenix PD guys were the literal definition of professionalism though. They found out what was going on and immediately took our side. If I ever run into that officer or his partner on the streets I will gladly buy either of them a beer. Little did I know talking to the TSA for 15 minutes costs 3000.00 and I was supposed to pay it. The police officers warned me too that their commander had gone to the airport the week before and had a lot of problems with the TSA and they sent him a huge bill, but no one from the actual TSA told us anything would happen. |

My shirt came up and I had half the gun exposed for maybe 5 mins before I noticed. I was near the window. It explained why some people gave me the crazy eye. |

Everything in moderation. Including moderation. Well if you're moderating then I'm crashing on your couch after the cigar bar.
