A month or so ago I was looking for a local kydex holster maker to make me a custom mag carrier.  Jason Slisz from TCB Firearms stepped up to the challenge after finding my topic on the HTF.  I told him I was looking for a kangaroo type carrier for two rifle mags and two pistol mags that was worn on the belt, low profile, and with good enough retention to run, jump, and dive during competitions.  I sent him this awesome MSpaint sketch for reference.

After around two weeks and a handful of emails later, I received this.

I am very pleased with how this turned out.  I was a little concerned about retention at first, but I have sprinted, jumped, done handstand push ups, and dove to prone with zero issues.  Its wears comfortably tight to the body so it doesn't feel bulky and I wasn't very concerned about snagging on anything.  I wore it during a match today and was pleased at how light and stable it was compared to my usual war belt style I use.  Simple and efficient, the way I like it.  Jason was very easy to work with and kept me updated during the whole process.  Reasonable fees and quick turn around.  I will definitely go to him again for any other projects I think of.

I am not affiliated with TCB Firearms in any way and did not received compensation for this review.

Heres my shit-show match I did today with the carrier in action.  Not as many physical elements today that would show the retention, but you can still see it held up well.

Nice work Jason, If I had that thing I would end up loading glock mags into my carbine.

I'm calling it the Batwing.

That's a really cool concept. What's the price point on something like that?

Crunchy Tacos. It does look bulky but no more bulky than nylon would be.

ETA: that's some fantastic mspaint OP!

it was in the 120 range..i would have to look up the invoice to be sure. This was a custom job and is not a "production item" (yet) so i do not have a standard price point on it yet

I was looking at something like this

But your concept looks much more practical. Very cool, now I have another toy on my want list.
