does anyone know where (locally) I might be able to pick up a mag catch button?  I just need one and dont want to buy a whole kit  or pay $12 shipping for it either.....as a last resort I might go into the 'show' this weekend but would rather not.  please shoot me a email if you might know.  I called shooters world, scottsdale gun club, american spirit arms, bear armory, us auto weapons and nothing there.....any help would be great.....thanks

SGC is where I'd go first to acquire small parts like that locally.  They won't have them out front, but if you ask one of the guys up front (hint: go to the AR counter) they will usually and check with their in-house gunsmith who has pretty much everything one might need back there.  Expect to pay a premium though.  I've bought several small things there when I didn't want to hassle with shipping something.  You pay about 2x what the part is worth, but it's instant gratification  Now I tend to keep spares of stupid things one might launch across a room and never find

this, but check out what they give you because i went in there and bought a hammer spring he handed it to me and i didnt look at it. when i got it home and went to install i noticed it was a trigger spring. I take blame on this one because i should have known better and looked at it first.

I busted one and picked up a spare from Quentin Laser. I don't know if they regularly stock them or I just got lucky.

Pistol Parlor in Mesa has alot of parts. They keep them behind the counter in small bins.  Just ask and they will pull out the parts.
