I don't know if I would ask people on the internet that I didn't know very well. Do you have a good friend that you trust?

Since that recent robbery the last FTF I did I went into SGC and did it.

IMO just go somewhere nice and public go inside a building and don't worry too much about it or go my route and head to a gun store during business hours plenty of armed folks around to discourage any shenanigans

That didn't work over here.  Shoot out in the Sportsman's Warehouse parking lot.

ETA:  I would make the time during daylight hours and somewhere with lots of traffic cams or security cams from businesses.

I figured if a bunch of guys can camp overnight with each other this couldnt be too bad

Besides meeting new people is fun, even if they try to rob you

I agree with the sentiment, but who's to say that the guy that agrees to watch his back on here, isn't the same guy he's buying from?

It's probably best to only accept this kind of help from a well-established member here.

I'd do it for Rifleguy81 if I was closer, and I'd do it for most of the active members here in the AZHTF.

Just playing devils advocate. Arfcommers are the best group of guys I've met. I'm sure I can trust all that I have met in person so far, but this is the internet, it can be read by anyone, and you need to be careful.

If I recall correctly, that sportsmans warehouse ftf was in a rear or side parking lot. Not exactly the best spot probably.

Thanks mixmaster for offering.

Not the first time Ive done this but its been awhile.

And to top it all off I still have both my kidneys.

What?  When was this?  I didn't hear about it.  Are you talking the one at I-17 & the 101?

Too bad I didn't see the post earlier, I'd have come by.  I live down the road from the Fry's Electronics.  Hell, I can see it if I stand on my roof.

You could have just taken the scoped AR on the roof to cover...

I was thinking more like a .300WSSM.  5.56 would be just a little long.

when meeting new people or FTF sales its a good idea to have a plan to kill them just in case.

I did consider this.  It would be pretty bad had that happened.  I figured I have met some of you guys in person, so maybe that would narrow the chances of it going down bad.
