Check this action out:
Bad News Come to share what I have, and I will give it freely. Come to take what I have, and that, too, I will give freely. UPDATE: Sorry guys, usually I check this stuff out but I was pretty awestruck (and tired) last night when I posted this. Now it seems the Oathkeepers either made it up or blew it out of proportion. Whether it's true or not, it's a good reminder to remember to be careful about who knows what you have. |
| This is really getting scary. When I heard about the provisions in the new law that basically considered anyone who stores provisions to be a potential "domestic terrorist" I knew we were in it deep now. Hell they basically have implicated the entire LDS population as being potential terrorists. I think I heard the bill passed the senate with something like 97 votes too. How the hell can this be happening? |
| no freakin way. sad days ahead for our country. i think newt gingrich would gladly go along with this. what happened to the 5th ammendment? and our own john mccain led the way. i did not vote for him last time around. i went libertarian party which lost horribly. but at least i didn't support that traitor. |

I found this after doing some googleing, since the story felt odd.

A several page thread in GD http://www.ar15.com/forums/t_1_5/1262740_Feds_Demand_Cusomer_List_from_LDS.html&page=1 Also in the Survival forum. http://www.ar15.com/forums/t_10_17/652688_Federal_Agents_Demand_Customer_Lists_From_Mormon_Food_Storage_Facility.html&page=1&anc=11134886#i11134886 I recall reading something a few weeks ago about the feds also looking for the sales records of several food storage vendors. Don't remember where I read that or the context. But if true, they may be looking for large purchases by specific customers or large shipments to a specific area, possibly indicating start-up militia groups, possible weapons caches, etc... Where there's food storage, there's likely to be weapons. Either way, all the more reason for better OPSEC regarding prepping. ![]() |

regardless of whether this is true or not it is always a wise choice to pay in cash for everything. Unless you can think of a benefit of having a paper trail... I can't think of one. Also probably not wise to buy things from an FFL unless you are willing to lose it someday. I can think of no god dmned reason my name should be on a piece of paper somewhere saying what I bought. |

This is a good thought, but sooner or later you'll stand out. AZCDL membership? NRA membership? Bulk food purchases? Ammo purchases? If any of these are with a check or with a credit/debit card then you're in the system. I never buy anything thinking I'll lose it someday. Come and take it. |

I am not sure if my references to legislation was clear or not but this did pass the senate. Watch Rand Paul then Judge Napalitano discuss it. Link below the video shows the roll call where it passed 93 to 7. I know it hasn't passed the house but BOHICA doesn't begin to describe where were headed when something like this can pass with 93% approval.

Quoted: well yeah. come and take it indeed. keeping as much as possible without a paper trail could mean the difference between being one of the first to get their door kicked in though. Your odds are probably better if you know it is coming. We are all on some lists with these things but the people on the list who have 15 thousand rounds of ammo and 15 guns purchases and enough bulk food to feed ten families in the last year on their bank statement probably have an asterisk next to them as priority hit first targets if shit ever got real crazy. |

see ya in the bread lines or the local fema death camps..... You won't see me in either. only by force... Nope. Not that, either. I'm fully prepared to fight to the death if one of my "line in the dirt" thresholds are crossed. I would rather meet with my family in the life after this one than see them starving and broken in some damn camp. Live free or die. |

More people are awakening to the belief that our society is heading to a point where they may have to make that ultimate decision. While there are many who talk-the-talk, but would immediately surrender when confronted, there is a growing number committed to actually defending their rights, their freedom and their property. Our leaders need to be reminded that the government is to serve the will of the people. |

Quoted: I don't believe in an afterlife so you can bet your ass Im right there with you. This is the only life I have and Ill do anything I can right up until my last breath if I see things headed to a point where my daughter will suffer in any way. If my family is going to suffer Im going to make as many of the people responsible for it as possible suffer before I go out.Quoted: Quoted: Quoted: Quoted: see ya in the bread lines or the local fema death camps.....
