Have you used the VA clinic on Williams Field in Mesa? How is it? |
| I work for the Phx VA and am out there quite a bit. It's decent if you dont need a bunch of "stuff done they can't do. Are you enrolled with the VA for medical care? If not keep in mind the current financial quidelines for receiving care from the VA. I'm a honorably discharged Vet with over 6 years inservice time and make too much money to receive services. The cutoff is $55,000. |

Have you used the VA clinic on Williams Field in Mesa? How is it? I just transfered out there from the PHX VA hospital a few months ago, it is ~20 miles round trip closer for me. I have only had one appt with my new PC doc, so I can't give you an overall review. But, so far it is better then PHX VA, I used to do all my bloodwork out to the clinic. I still have to go to the PHX VA for some things but if you are in the east valley, it saves a few miles on your car for the routine stuff.

My buddy who was in the Navy for awhile told me his experience at the VA was good today. He was going over to pick up some new hearing aids. Guess he spent too much time on the flight deck and bunked right under the forward catapult  Anyway, he got there around 9am and was in and out in under an hour. For what it's worth, he was impressed and reports his new hearing aids are amazing. |
