| Wondering if there are any Phoenix Police officers or anyone here than is in good with one. I had a truck and expensive tig welder stolen from me about a year ago. I no longer live in AZ but have located the truck and welder at a business/chop shop in Phoenix. Because they were originally in Glendale they were reported stolen there. After locating them I contacted Glendale PD and Phoenix PD because they are in Phoenix now, however, Phoenix tells me it's Glendale's problem and Glendale tells me because they are behind a fence and out of plain sight they won't send anyone out there without me meeting them there. I can't afford to fly out to there right now and my wife is having our daughter this Wednesday so even if I had the money I couldn't get out there now. Unfortunately, I didn't have insurance on the truck because it wasn't in a drivable state and was being left with a shop to get work performed and later shipped up to me. I do have the VIN for the truck and the title is at my dad's house in Phoenix and I have the serial numbers from the welder and a bill of sale as proof they are mine. Basically what I'm looking for is an officer that will meet a friend or family member of mine out there, verify the VIN and serial numbers (already had someone else do it for me to be 100% sure they are mine) and allow whoever I have go out there to take at least the welder back. The truck is pretty well stripped so I'm s.o.l. on that anyway. |
