With respect to This thread, I wanted to start a KILL thread.

Found this guy tonight. I started using 'Ant & Roach" killer instead of using my old faithful bamboo chopstick and squishing them. Its tough to get the ones bareley peaking out between the cinder block wall. So I tried using spray. They dont like it one bit.

They do a cool death dance with carb or brake cleaner. Watch for pilot lights.

Sounds like someone is sporting the Mr. Clean look....

I have been known to cook them when a stick lighter...

I use the environmentally friendly propane torch when hunting.  I used to use a stick but that wouldn’t get all the little ones on the back if they have them.  It also works great for those fast moving roaches.  Nothing like a blast of fire to slow them down.  My kids don’t like the fact I kill the scorpions but I’m sure they would change their tune if they get stung.

A lot of the cheaper sprays don't work well on scorpions. I use Raid-brand and it works great - they curl up and die pretty quickly (less than 60 seconds). Interestingly, they die a lot quicker when the spray is properly aerosolized (i.e. can is well shaken) versus the stream of liquid if the can is not shaken.

With the above said, there is no substitute for carb cleaner and a lighter

My buddy use to have a place that was absolutely filled with them every summer (I think it was date palms, or royal palms in the back yard).  We'd smash them with a long screw driver.  Turns out their guts glow green under a black light for some time after you've killed them.

If you have many "runners" grab some of the old lady's hair spray......, for some reason that turns them instantly.....slooooooow...motion & then you can use whatever means necessary to eradicate the little buggers!!

Blacklight...or flashlight with filter lens.  One next to bed stand is a good idea.

I use a black light and blow torch which is great for reaching into the block wall cracks.
