I know there is some hate here for SGC, but no one can argue that there facilities suck, because their range is very nice. I guess they are opening a retail location with a new indoor range opening soon after.  I am not on the west side but If I was I would be pretty excited, I can't think of an indoor range in that area except shooters world, and that really isn't even the west side. What does everyone think?

I may apply as a range safety officer, I worked for them before for a short time between jobs. I have nothing but good things to say about the people I worked with. I am happy to see them expanding, 5 years ago (when I was working there) they were talking about opening something up on the west side. Good for them.

I rather like SGC

If they were to open up a new one on the SE part of town, I would re-up my membership.  Scottsdale just got to be a bit far to drive once I moved to Chandler. Their range facility has always been top notch and their RSO's aren't total buttholes typically.

SGC isn't bad, except eveytime I buy something there its a bitch to find someone to check me out. We really need a nice outdoor range in Chandler.

Me and some of the guys from my unit have been shooting at this range buy the polytechnic campus The price is great and the owners really friendly.

This place?

I will have to give them a shot.  They're pretty close.

It's an ok indoor range, but I'd call it a step below Caswells and way below SGC.  I only go there when I have some new handgun reloads to test and I'm in a hurry.

Step below Caswells doesn't sound promising... Are they usually pretty busy?  I may still give them a shot due to their location at some point.

they don't have any fancy target holders like the ones that move but they are about half the price of the other two,  and we haven't relay had a problem getting multiple lanes for our group  which is good enough for me.

I avoid any range at the busy times.  Last time I went there was on a weekday afternoon and I was the only one shooting.  That was a while ago, so I don't know if the word has spread about them and they've gotten busier.

There aren't very many lanes and it just feels small.  I was shooting light .44 Special loads and even though I was the only one shooting I left there with a massive headache from the concussion in that small space.  I would hate to be anywhere near an AR going off in that place.
