Got to spend a few days in AZ for a conference. HOLY MOLY what the hell do you do to that state?... I was in the Scottsdale area and that place is so friggin clean, the people are friendly... You know you guys have Javalinas running around there? |
| It's the winter, everybody is friendly right now. And yes, Scottsdale is very nice. For the most part, Phoenix is a pretty clean city and well as its suburbs. It has is own shit areas though as well. If you are on a street named after a President, you're in the wrong area. |

You know you guys have Javalinas running around there? As much as I complain about Scottsdale, they do seem to have their shit together when it comes to appearance. Many parts of the Valley are like that. Gilbert, Red Mountain, Awhatukee Foothills, Paradise Valley, Fountain Hills, Anthem and Carefree are all nice communities. But the best part is we all got guns in our pockets. An armed society is a polite society. Yeah, it's hot in the summer, but it keeps the scum indoors. We don't have groups of lowlifes just milling around outside like I find in other parts of the country. They don't even come out at night. Suits me just fine. |
| I took the family to Disneyland CA last summer. I had quite to opposite reaction to California. Seems it's on a very drastic decline in the last 10 years. I will say AZ has been cleaning up steadily for the last couple years since we passed the employers sanction laws regarding hiring illegals. |

I like the heat it scares away the whiners. Also for some reason I love the feeling of walking out of an Air Conditioned house into 110 degree weather. I can't explain why I like that but its always been a fond feeling an memory for me. Same here, oddly enough. I'll take 110-120 degrees any day over cold and snow... |

Yea, it will be a sad day when my wife and I end up moving back to Minnesota. I love the fact I can walk 100m outside in 110 degree weather and not be covered in sweat, unlike going outside in 90-95 degree heat making it one step out the door and being covered in sweat not being able to breathe |

We are very active with our organization. my bride sat in on a lot of the medical mumbo jumbo that I cant understand... So I went to Dillon's Happy to see a CA business doing a conference in AZ. |
