Which pawn shops in Phoenix have a decent selection of guns? I am looking for a 22 semi rifle with mags(Marlin795, Mossberg 702, Remington 597) that won't break the bank. Everyone wants way too much for 10/22's these days.

The Jewell Box.  Oops.... had a flashback.  I bought my first couple firearms there in the '60s.  Too bad it's gone.

It's been my experience with pawn shops is general, that they're rip-off. Especially on firearms. I'm sure there may be some bargains out there, but.....

The pawn shops near me are much more expensive than used guns are at a regular gun shop.

Just my observation.

Look to the Arizona EE.

If looking for a Marlin 795 then check out Sports Authority, they are on sale a lot for 125-150 plus you get a $25 rebate from Marlin on top of that. Can't get much better than a new $100 .22!

I agree MOST pawn shops Ive been in are a total RIP off.... I like to go in and look, but Can hardly ever buy from them.. their tools and stuff is just overpriced....  ALTHOUGH I have heard good deals being had on guns....   Some may not have the knowledge if a regular gun shop on some guns.

I went to a pawn shop a few years ago to buy a Ruger 10/22.  The beat up POS they had was priced $5 more than a BRAND NEW ONE at the Walmart down the street.

Save your money, unless you find a deal.  But I would buy on backpage or craigs list on a FTF first before going to a pawnshop.

If you have to go to a pawnshop, there is one down just west of SR51 on Indian School.  They have a big selection.
