Just finished setting up the 4 Stages for tomorrow's steel match, Rod N Gun Club.... Should be a fairly good match, anyone planning to join?

Tomorrow i will be done at work at noon, maybe I will show up. Since I have no idea what the specifics are, If I was to bring my CZ SP01, a bunch of mags, kydex holster, two mag belt holder, a couple hundred rounds of 9mm and eyes and ears would I be good to go? |

I'm no authority on the subject, however your load out seems pretty on par to me. Glock, Eyes/Ears, Mags, Holster, Ammo.... pretty much my load out in a nut shell. Courses are not big, so 10 mags is not essential, think total min round count was 77 or something... so 100 rounds, maybe 150 if your rusty. ;)

Had a good time tonight, think I may start attending Steel more often. Dropped a mag during a reload, only to step on it a moment later, scuffed it up a bit but nothing serious. Was weird, watched a lot of people having issues with there weapon, technical stuff like Jams n what not..... just for note: my Glock jammed "0" times... leaving it with a lifetime jam total of "0" times.... LOL :P I did miss a few shots tho :( and I didn't realize I had already shot this 1 plate, it didn't ting or move enough to really let me know I hit it... so ended up shooting it like 5 times, ppl were like dooood it's dead!!! just goooo ... lol Need a better camera for night time stuff, mine is old. –– Results came in, took 1st Place in "Limited-D", out of 12 shooters. Took 24th overall out of 68 shooters of various classes. -AOS |
