| So, what's the scoop on CCW at Phoenix International Raceway? Yes or No? I won't be drinking, but there will be a lot of drunks and i'd rather carry then not... |
| Might be a good idea. Keep it well concealed. Last time I was there was a couple years ago, before the bar carry law passed. I didn't carry inside but I put my gun back on when we got to the truck and started tailgating. Had a bona fide draw down, complete with adrenaline dump. I don't really feel like relating the whole story but to cut it short, I heard a woman screaming as though she were being assaulted or raped, I ran to play Captain Savaho and had to wrestle with a bigass drunken Indian that tried pretty hard to get shot. There was a significant disparity of force and there were a couple times that I was close to shooting but thankfully didn't have to. Sheriffs came but let everyone go because Chief Drink Drink's brother refused to press assault charges. |

I took a look at their website and unlike all of the other "International Raceways" that are owned by this company, they state nothing about firearms, or weapons of any sort.
So, looks like I'm now in the market for a holster that I can use to ccw with a tucked shirt. If any of you guys are going, let me know as I'll be doing some volunteer stuff there as well. |

So, looks like I'm now in the market for a holster that I can use to ccw with a tucked shirt. I'd recommend a Comp-Tac M-Tac. I freaking love mine. All that shows are 2 black clips, but they are making clips now that are essentially invisible. Know any place in the west valley that sells them? My searches have turned up jack squat...

If you need something quick, I know Galco makes a lot of tuckable holsters. They aren't that comfortable, but they work. I used one for a long time before I switched. |

While it wouldn't be my first choice, if you need one fast Galco makes one call the King Tuk that's much like the Super Tuck or the Mtac, and so does DeSantis although I forget what they call theirs. Both these companies keep holsters stocked on the shelves and at their dealers, so as long as you don't want it for some obscure gun (like I usually do) or don't need a left handed model (like I do) you should be able to get either at short notice. |
