HAHAHA! Funniest You Tube videos ever! What class date are you looking at? Gonna start cooling off here soon, so now's the time to go if you're gonna do it. |
|
It doesn't matter when you go, you'll either freeze your balls off, or be hotter than hell. The coldest I have ever been in my life was the summer of '85 on the TVD (class 10... summer).
If you go in the winter, do you get to put your tab on with white velcro now? |
| I'm sure you're with the 158INF, and even if you weren't, why are you publicizing it like you're this badass? It takes more than passing a god damn PT to get through RIP, let alone Ranger School. IF you truly are going through Ranger School, you better get that ego out of your head or else you won't get far. I know too many people in the 158 that shouldn't be Infantry, let alone getting to Ranger School. So if you are, start prepping and best of luck. Individuals play the game. Teams beat the odds. Before the hate mail rolls in, I'm not ripping this guy, I'm just stating that facts. It's unnecessary to seek for fame, in a tradition of honor, valor, and integrity. |

Quoted: I wasn't trying to bad mouth in any way, but I think this should have stay between you and the people you know, instead of making a public announcement. Take care. I'm gonna support 11 Bravo on this by quoting Al Sweringen: "Announcing your plans is the surest way to hear God laugh." TIPS: Be able to run like a motherfucker.....I mean 00:06:15 consecutive two milers if you wanna hang. You can be slower....do you WANT to be? You start lagging and you'll start feeling the heat. Be able to ruck FAST without running. I.E. you need to be able to do a twelve miler in around 2 hrs 30 minutes with 70 to 80 pounds of gear. Your ruck weight has to be 45 lbs....that's all they ever say.....and every body forgets your carrying guns, gear, canteens, etc, etc, etc, etc. You won't forget it when you're on the road, I guarantee. Learn your land nav NOW and learn it well....no matter how well you think you know it, there are ranges on Benning that will fuck you up BAD. I've shredded uniforms in some of that shit. Learn your weapons and be EXTRA EXTRA safe. An AD or ND will ( or used to ) get you booted. This is the key: before you can be any good to the team you had better be able to pull a shitload of your own weight and be competent as fuck. Build your skills now. WHY ARE YOU STILL FUCKING STANDING HERE????? I said go build your skills NOW!!!!! |
