I'll be down there for two weeks starting tomorrow for business and I was wondering what there was to do?
How about good places to eat? I'm not sure where I will be staying but any input would be great... Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

ABCO BAD got really dirty a couple years ago. AVOID. Also the Cabaleas is off of 101 and glendale not 303. I wish it were off the 303. Save me about 20 min. http://www.heartattackgrill.com/ |

I like food.
One thing I like to do when I visit somewhere is eat at places I have seen on TV. This is so I judge for myself if it deserves to have been on TV. And mainly to really see what local cuisine has to offer... Here are a few of the places in or around Phoenix. Most I have been to. Pizzaria Bianco I have not been, but it has been rated best pizza in the country a few times, and there are many food celebrities that can not get enough of it. Matts Big Breakfast I thought it was fantastic! Joes Farm Grill Very neat concept and excellent food to boot! A list of all the places Diners Drive-Ins and Dives has been http://phoenix.about.com/od/foodanddrink/tp/dinersdriveinsdives.htm A few of my personal favorites on the east side(10-20min east of Sky Harbor) are.. Macs Broiler and Tap Iguana Macks(same owners as Riga-Tonys) I also LOVE beer. If you do too, there are a few places you need to visit as well Papago Brewing Here is their current beer list This is my most favorite beer place...30 taps of GOOD stuff plus over 400 Bottles to chose from...a slight warning tho... the service can suck..because they hire beer drinkers to work there, not servers... their food is good too! Four Peaks Brewing The original one in Tempe. ETA: Heart Attack Grill So controversial that John Stossel even did a piece on it. All you can eat fries, Jolt cola only(no diet anything) and they sell unfiltered Lucky Strikes! And, if your over 350lbs, you eat free! |
