The vast majority of poll's has Goddard beating Jan Brewer in November and no one really challenging Jan for the Republican party
nomination for governor. What will Arizona look like with Gov. Terry Goddard and how long before he tries to repeal SB 1070. |

True about poll's!!! You can ask a question a certain way to get the response you want or heavily sway your poll to a certain demographic to
do so. I'm afraid if this boycott Arizona really starts to effect the economy of the state that a lot of people will get scared and vote for Goddard. |

Stacking a poll for the desired result is easy. Most are done telephonically and they just program in a "random" number of response from "selected" area codes.
Same way they got the "McCain is 30 points ahead of JD" results. (actually he's 42 and 47) Jan for the win. |

Money is not a Jan Brewer problem soley, it is an Arizona gov problem that has been building for many, many years. There is no quick fix, there is no pain free fix, every state in the country (and the federal gov.) is facing huge financial problems. |

I really wanted dean but if Jan holds her ground for us Im not going to turn on her, I want my vote to send a message to washington as well and voting for jan if we stay on this course sends a message that message is "FUCK YOU OBAMA" |

That is the State Legislature's job. |
| We need to get behind Jan,she has the balls to do what is right . She has done right by us,and we need to do what is right and support her . Dean may be as good or better ,but Jan is showing us what a Governor shoul do . I beleive she is doing what the Majority wants ,you can't argue with that . She represents the citizens of Arizona in a way we can all be proud of . |

Everybody don't forget to vote no on 100. And Vote For Brewer. The tax increase will only allow the state/county/cities to spend like normal. That's why they State/County/City governments need to live within their budget and not threaten the public when they are short on money. |

I don't support the tax increase, but that is a separate issue that I get to vote on. |

Arizona Voters have no one but themselves to blame for the mess the state is in
Since the loss of Symington the state has had a series of spend till it its gone Politicians. We have raided the rainy day fund the state had; and constantly outspent growth; just assuming the money will always be flowing. When was the last time the State sent you money back not because you overpaid; but because they didn't need the revenue. At the ballot, voters have constantly approved initiatives that have no funding source but make people feel good. We have locked the Legislative out of the budget; making large areas of the budget untouchable. Programs that will continue to grow and no ability to reign in the costs. No shit they proposed a tax increase. We put the Legislative between a rock and a hard place and then act shocked when they do things like try and raise some more money. Do I support a tax increase? No, because it is only a band-aid on the real issue. People do not want to get rid of these programs that they enjoy but never though of what funds it. We need to fix the budget process in the state. We need to allow our state legislative the ability to cut any fund and make the choices. That is why we elect them. Screaming slash the budget or manage your money is not realistic. We as VOTERS have made it so they are not allowed to cut the budget or reign in costs on a large amount of programs. |

If we can get half of them out of here we will be saving a fucking LOT of money. |

Well if the shoe fits. She did create part of this problem. She was presented a budget last October. She Vetoed parts of it until it would not balance. Then she said we need to pay more taxes. |

The Governor has to approve it or veto it, or she can just veto parts she doesn't like. By her and her line item vetoes she created part of this mess we are in.
