Anyone heading to the expo this weekend? We went a couple of years ago
and had a great time. |
| It's all day, it rocks, and everyone here should go. Take some spending cash, though, 'cause there are lot of vendor booths and Glock, Ruger, and Smith and Wesson have table set up where you can shoot pretty much any of their guns for a small ammo fee. You can shoot combat handgun courses, full-auto, archery, go fishing in a pond, test drive the new Jeep . . . . get it? It's awesome. |
For anyone who didn't go . . . . you missed out! Had a great time as usual with the family, lots to do and see even though it was smaller than previous years. Dillon Aero was shooting blanks this year (  ) AND they ran out of free calendars before I got there. There weren't as many vendors either, but still lots to do with the kids (.22 shooting, fishing, nature journals, geocaching, etc) and the cowboy action shooting is fun to watch as always. Plus I got to see Dangler in action on the offroad course and got to see that badass MCSO buggy up close. I was gonna say hey to ya Dangler, but you were always too busy for poor ol' rizzo  .
The show is still on for Sunday, though - so someone should go to the SCC silhouette shooting lane (next to Dillon Aero) and beat my time of 3.15! |

| It was a great weekend. I admit, i didnt get a chance to wander around at all. I am usually stuck in my area doign my thing. I know I met some folks from the board. Nice to see some freindly faces. For those that I missed, sorry about that. it was a hopping 2 days. Looking forward to next year. |

We went on Sunday. Had a real good time. Got there just after they opened.
Not to crowded at the start but picked up nicely. Talked to Dangler for a few minutes. He was showing off some real nice goodies. My 15 year old granddaughter had a great time shooting the steel targets and the black powder rifles. She also stated she would like a horse and a pair of pistols. Not as big as when we went 2005 but still lot to see and do. Hope I have off next year on the weekend they have the Expo. Dennis |
