[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Help locating .45 ACP ammo

I live in Avondale and work in north Scottsdale along the loop 101, so preferrable northwest valley.
Need 300-500 rounds of .45 acp practice ammo. Cabelas doesn't have anything.
The 3 walmarts I am near have bare shelves everytime I check.
Has anyone seen a decent amount in stock for under 36 cents a round?

Sportsmans at Yorkshire and 27th Ave had some on Sunday, but I don't remember the cost. It didn't jump out at me as a good deal though, I will say that.

Scottsdale Gun Club. Just bought 1500 rounds over the past two weeks from them. They were the cheapest I found in the valley that had the amount of ammo I needed.

The Walmart at 101 and Raintree has had UMC Value Pacs of 250 rds for around $85 the last seveal times I've been in there, the last time being Sunday.

SGC has a "Four box per person per day" sign by the front door, and behind the counter by the ammo, but I guess money talks as there wasn't a problem either time.

I usually have good luck at the Dick's Sporting Goods on I-17 and Happy Valey Rd.

If you can't find any down there, a few places up here in Prescott Valley have some. I could ship it to you if you need it for a class or something like that.

SGC says they are completely out right now.
Dicks's has some but it's 50 cents a round.

Like the poster said above, the WalMart at 101 and Raintree is hit and miss with 45.

I keep aiming and go in there daily to see if they have what I need.

Its a numbers game really. Sometimes I go there and all they have is 45, sometimes they dont have shit.

Go in before work and go in after.

Not that I expect they have any deals on ammo - just curious.
