I hope you like winters in the 70's for the high and 40's for the lows 
Food: Just about all the Mexican food places are good to go Mr G's is about the best and cheapest more or less a cafe/take out and the standard applebees/outbacks stuff Entertainment: not so much movies and sometime the casinos get some good shows and stuff in. Hunting/fishing: tons of small game around Quail,ducks/geese,rabbits and some of the best dove hunting in the states the Rivers,lakes and canal are loaded with Bass( large mouth I believe the local record stands at about 14lbs. ) catfish ( channel and flat heads up to 40+ pounds ) blue gill and so on. lots to do but as you see most of this is outdoors stuff good luck and an early welcome ETA. thanks for your service |
