I was looking over a used truck there and in the 'price negotiations', they tried to charge a 500 plus DOC fee and a 300 paint sealer charge. Talk about the lame-ass old ripo-off sales gimmicks.
I'm not paying 500 bucks for them to fill out a receipt of purchase, and no way in hell am I going to pay 300 bucks for a wash and wax. The best part was that I came in dropping the owners name from his friend, they dropped the price on the truck by 1 grand from the price advertised on the truck, then I handed them their own internet add that was 2 grand less than the price on the truck. Crooks. Straight up car sales crooks. They put the bad experience in dealer car buying that so many people hate. |

These fucks have called twice with two fake recalls, and they also played the battery game. I haven't even pulled a plug to check them, but I bet they are platinum and are barely worn at 56K miles...............
I went to Tempe Dodge in December with a newspaper add. It had 5 trucks with VINS and a set price. I picked one, paid and drove off. That is how it should work.............. |
| ya, imagine how many fall for it and pay it..... Or the salesman try to make you feel better by knocking them fees off, while the price of the vehicle is still jacked up.... Not in the market but I suspect this cash for clunkers , the dealers are going to use this to their advanage and really try to snow people.. |
They are all crooks to some degree and now that the economy sucks and they are slow the more fleecing they will do. Don't be a SHEEPLE do the work yourself. I had the Dodge dealer try to sell me an extra key for my truck at a price of $375.00 and that was Jim THE DICK Click Dodge. Went on line bought a blank key for $50 and paid a tech $20 to program saved $305 on a SPARE key

you need to understand how it works ,Chrysler fucked the stock holders, then the franchised dealers, now they are run by the current administration (Obama Motors) and they will fuck us all in the long run . if you think that dealer is a scumbag ,you ain't see nothing yet . welcome to what is left of America in 2009 . |

yeah saw the cheap ones thought they might be junk, I have a key cutter at work, Could you explain the programming of them? Read your owner's manual. You use your onboard computer to program the new key. On PATS I, you need one good key (some 98 and older) On PATS II you need two good keys (some 98 and newer) On a Ford it works like this: Insert good key, turn to on (don't start the engine), Remove and within 10 seconds Insert second good key, turn to on, remove and within 10 seconds Insert new key, watch "anti theft" light go blink blink blink for around 30 seconds while the key is programed. (I've done keys for F-150s, my Mustang, and my wife's Expedition) Dodge should be identical, though the details might be a little different. The technology is the same. |
