When: July 18th
Time: 8:30am sign in - 9:00am first shots Where: Pima Pistol Club There will be more hints and teasers about the upcoming stages later this month in this thread, but let's just say it's going to be a rough and tumble 4 stages. Gather your strength and your breath for this month. |
| I am think about going for the first tiime. What is the average max target range? How beat up do the rifles get, I dont want to F'up my Class III lower. Can a shotgun or bolt gun be used in place of a semi rifle, i realize these things are usually higher speed? m4whore |

If you can f'up your lower at a match, then you have some serious issues... A bolt gun can be used, but I would not advise it for a new shooter... |

I to am a first timer to your shoots and was wondering if there is any common mistakes made by niew shooters. Equipment, what to bring, guns, etc...? I hope to have some of my guys from ATS come too, we will see. Thanks for the help and hope to see you there.

Know where your gun hits, from 1 inch away, to 100 yards (this month; we do 200 yards at times). You must have a sling on your rifle. We move, often in not so traditional ways (crawling out of windows, moving backwards, shooting under cars). Make sure that your holster will hold your pistol. This month especially, bring water. |
| You are more than welcome to come out and watch but the real way to know what it is about is just jump right in. if you want to shoot you will need a rifle and handgun. The handgun must have a secure holster as there is a lot of movement. you don’t need any mag holders but it is better if you have them |

I have the guns but probably not quite the right set up so I'll come check my first one out. Thanks! |
