found this on a wiki page.... neat map. I assume it's fairly accurate but I have not checked...

And of course the map is also inaccurate since it only applies to concealed carry, and not open carry, many states that did not issue CCWs allowed unlicensed OC for years, that is certainly a right to carry, it is just a right restrained by social constraints, not legal. I still don't feel comfortable OCing, I'm worried about getting hassled. |

That is why I said never issue. In theory MGs are legal too, don't hold your breath. Lets just say the map is very misleading on the subject. |
