I have an AR I've been looking at and I need help. I have no idea what all this stuff is like so maybe you could help. How much is it worth? Are these good parts? Would all these parts combined make a good or great AR-15? Be brutally honest please. | These are all excellent parts, put them together and see how you like it, should be a very good unit in the end. If you don't like it, change it, that's the beauty of the AR. Or go to a gun shop that carries different types and see what YOU like first, you can always trade parts etc. |

Bushmaster sells their 16" Dissipator for $1120, but a quick search on Google shows new rifles selling for under $1000. The benefit of buying new of course is the warranty and the peace of mind. That being said, if you really like the extra features like the MIAD, the flash suppressor, and the sling mounts, it may be worth it to buy this gun, but I wouldn't pay more than $800 for the whole setup. |
