I am a Deputy Chief of Police for a small agency on the east coast and I am wanting to relocate to the southwest. How entrenched is the police "good ole boy network" out there? Do I even have a chance to find a command level slot at a decent PD or am I too much of an outsider? I don't have any friends or family in that part of the US, I just really like the geography and climate (year round motorcycle riding). |
