| Anyone know if they will be charging for parking at the gunshow this weekend at the fair grounds? Thanks. |

I would be willing to bet that since we have now been paying to park there that the "fee" will never go away. Just like taxes, they never go away, they just increase. These IDIOTS that run these shows keep right on raising the entrance fees all while the good dealers are leaving and the swap meet crap is expanding. Hell, you're shelling out $12 or more just to get in and walk around that ghost town. Same old dealers, same old stock every time, nothing new. The only way I will go again is if I get in for free........maybe I'll just hit the SAR show every year. |

I've never been to the Tucson show. I'm in town (Phoenix) for business, going home on Sunday AM (driving). I was thinking about going to Tucson for the gun show. It's a 2 hr drive from PHX, 4 hrs round trip. Just wondering if it was going to be worthy of a trip from PHX. The only thing I could be interested in, is possibly a STEN Mk II or Mk III parts kit for a semi STEN build on a reduced diameter receiver. I have been looking at the online retailers and auctions and can have them shipped home. But, nothing beats hand picking a nice kit or at least reviewing the kits first hand. Has anyone seen a vendor @ the AZ gun shows carrying STEN parts kits? |

I wouldn't know. haven't been to a Cali gun show in several years. I already have my share of legal/ registered (non nudered) EBR. I figure with the price of rifle ammo. I would concentrate on pistol caliber carbines and caliber conversions for my AWs. STEN with a T-stock or modified loop stock, would pass as legal in Commifornia. I was also in the market for a Vector Arms .45 caliber conversion kit for my UZI. But, I can order that too, if they had in stock. I'll skip Tucson then. With gas and time, etc involved... I'd probably be close to the price of a Mk III kit online. Thanks for the heads up. |
