[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Help with C&R License app???

Just needed a quick question answered. I am filling out my C&R license application. I live in Mesa, so is the CLEO Sheriff Joe or is it the PC of Mesa??

Who do I send the CLEO copy to and does anyone know the address by chance?? Thanks fellas.

It needs to be sent to the Mesa Chief of police. It is best to call the front desk at headquaters to get the name and address correct. No, I don't know the phone number!!

I was told the CLEO was the Sheriff of the county you live in, not your city Police Chief. Of course, I could have been told wrong. I sent mine to Joe. It's just a notification, so I'm not sure it makes a big deal, it's not like he has to sign off on it.

You can send it to either one it doesn't matter.

also FYI, i had a friend who received a letter back from his CLEO with a letter stating they could not approve it at this time or some bull___ like that, just ignore it,the feds dont care about that they just require that you notify them.

BTW..what are some of the benes of having a C&R? Having a C&R weapon shipped to your home is one. What else???

Midway USA will give you dealer discounts if you mail them a copy.

My C&R payed for itself on my first order. For some items the discount is substantial.

Brownells and Numerich also will give you thedealer discount.
