Awhile back I saw a post, but can't find it. The post concerned shooting in the desert. Are their any places either NW valley (north of I-17) or East valley (Mesa area) to shoot in the desert safely and legally?  I am well aware of where Ben Avery and Usery are but want something a little different. Please e-mail or pm me and I promise I will keep your spot quiet....Thanks in advance.

We usually go up by Four Peaks. Go up 87 (country club) past Ft. McDowell, turn right on Four Peaks Rd I believe. Go up a few miles, and you should be able to find some good spots w/ good backstops.

Please, please pack out MORE than you packed in. Assholes leaving trash out there is going to get it shut down for shooters.

I'm looking at 87 on MapQuest, and I'm not seeing any Four Peaks past the casino. There are some little roads that look a lot like a neighborhood, then Bush Highway, and then a bunch of Nf-### roads, then Sunflower. I took it all the way to Payson, and haven't seen it. Is it before Sunflower?

When we go up, my truck bed comes back full of shit others have left, usual trash are old computers, tires, monitors/tv's Etc. Bunch of assholes. One thing I wish the Forest Service would do is put a dumpster at the parking lot where all the ATV trailers always park next to the restrooms. That way I could get it out of my truck bed and I don't have to haul it all the way to town.
