Is the crossroads gun show worth going to this weekend or is it a small show?

The only show worth going to is SAR.

Everything else is a sweaty, mantastic, over priced ~~discount~~ disappointment.

ETA: Dunno where discount came from...

The SAR show is in December and IIRC, I think it's the first week.

I just got back from Crossroads. Wasn't too excited, but I was looking for some very specific purchases. Waste of $6 for parking and $11 for the ticket.

I agree. This show was a total waste of my time, money, and gas! It was soo disapointing. I know people are out to make money but they are selling some pretty high priced junk! Even the beef jerky is overpriced. I needed a A2 Butt Stock screw and the guy wanted to charge 5 bucks for it!!! I got him down to two but man wtf??

Even the private sales wanted NIB money for their items. Now I remember why I didn't go to the last show.

... Don't make the mistake we did today. Went there expecting it to be held in the Ice House as is the usual mid-July show. The coliseum is having the roof worked on so the event was held in the sweltering hot & humid steel buildings on the west

... Went with a couple buddies and we all scored some fair deals. Some reloading components are actually coming down a tad.

I usually like going to these shows (even the small ones) but if I knew it wasn't going to be in the ice house, I would have stayed home instead. I don't mind the crowds too much but it was smelly and rubbing sweaty arms with overweight guys isn't my thing.
