... Wow, people still come to the ARFCOM AZ-HTF? I thought this place had died off completely. ... Ah yes, "Monsoon Season" in Arizona. My favorite time of year! ... My guess: July 12 ![]() ... a link to some cool Arizona Monsoon photos: www.weatherpix.com/Arizona.htm |
July 7 As for the AZHTF.......the cleansing continues. |
Same here. I'd go get some new ones, but I got rear-ended on the freeway this morning so I think I'll hold off until I find out if they're going to total my car or not. One of our workers from south of the border driving a contractor truck over the speed limit in a construction zone... w00t. Good thing his construction company had insurance, because I'm sure he doesn't. Oddly enough, ya know what sound the collision made? Yeah, you know.

I guess it all depends on if we are going for the "OFFICIAL" start of the Monsoon, or the first dust storm / rain storm of the summer. ETA: INTERESTING READ |

The monsoon arrived in Tucson on Sunday, July 8, the first of three successive days with dew points of 54 degrees or above, but it couldn't be officially declared until Tuesday. In Phoenix, which requires an average dew point of 55 for three days, it has yet to arrive, although Haffer said he had a thunderstorm at his house Tuesday night. "It wasn't an official one," he said. www.azstarnet.com/metro/191431 |
