this is the aftermath of the fire last night/this morn at 74th and main in mesa.   i was awakened this morn at 3 am by sirens and such.. got video of fire in full bloom but didn't take any stills till this morning. will try to capture some stills from the video and post. this is in the strip mall next to my building..can still smell the smoke.  |

There is speculation that a gas dryer in the cleaners at the end of the building caught fire, but this is not official. its a shame to see these small businesses go up in flames.  ETA-- there is now a track hoe in the parking lot. looks like they will be demolishing it soon. |
