All,

I'm looking for a gunsmith in the Tucson area that is skilled with shotguns. A friend of mine is a large guy and needs his stock lengthened on his trap gun. Also, the action needs some work to smooth it out.

Any recommendations?

Murphy at Murphy's. He is in the phone book. The old guy at the Frontier Gunshop on Grant. If you have to come to Sierra Vista and see Mike Benton at Trailboss.

Anyone know of a Gunsmith in AZ that's AUTHORIZED/Factory Trained on H&K's???

Someone said GG&G, but they don't do "GUNSMITHING"anymore....

When you get to Murphy's shop, look at all the rifles in the gunsmith backlog in the left of the shop, along with the cobwebs..........

At one point he was not taking in any additional work. I am not sure if that is true.

Try Garbato. Ask around before having any work done. He is a former tool and die maker, so if he is good at that, he may be good at the gunsmithing.

Don't hesitate to send it out of state.
