All-

Never having a tile roof before, brings up a dumb (?) question.

I need to work under the second story eve, meaning that I'd like to walk on the fist story tile roof.  By doins this, will I cause any damage to the roof?

I didn't want to try it before asking, however, my gut says it's fine.  I don't want to crack 30 tiles before I realize I shouldn't have walked on the roof....

Here's the hosue (old pic)

Thanks,

depends.....

Do you weigh under 300 or so pounds?

I would say pushing 230 or more and there might be trouble..

Will a very long ladder help you out?  What city?

Keep your feet in the "valleys" of the tiles and you're good.  Stay off of the peaks.

I wish it would, I'd be IMing you.

I need to get under the eve, above the left small window.  That's our spare bath, and the numnuts who build the house didn't put a exhaust fan in there.

I don't want to run the vent through the roof, so i'm going to run it out under the eve, just like a dryer vent.

This'll wrap up my attic adventurs, first it was celing fans, then recessed lights, then rewiring the garaeg, now the exhaust fan...

Thanks, wish I could take you up on it though.

Right next to south mountian park on central ave, btw.

Can you take out the glass of the window and reach to the point where you need to do the install?
