I know I know.... It's been brought up before, but I checked the last 30 days and didn't find anything. There's several listings of gun safe places in the west valley in the phone book; just wondering if anyone had any recommendations on a particular place they were very impressed with?

It needs to be a place that delivers and installs (anchors to the floor).
Thanks guys
Nate

I just got my new safe delivered on Monday.  After much research, I went with a Champion safe.  They have a lifetime warranty on the locks (mechanical), as well as the safe.  If there is a fire or break-in, their warranty covers replacement, as well as shipping to and from the factory.  I got one with a fire rating of 1350 degrees for 1 hour with an interior temp of 330 degrees.  Most safes start at a fire rating of 1200 degrees for 30 minutes with an interior temp of 350 degrees.

Check out The Safe Store, they are in W PHX. They have good prices, deliver, and they will bolt it to the floor for you.

Also try Anderson's Lock and Key at 35th Ave. and Rose Lane (South of Bethany Home Rd.) They deliver, but I do not know if they will bolt it down.

Do you live in a newer house? Most newer houses have a post-tension concrete slab foundation. There are steel cables under extreme tension that run throughout the slab. I hear it is not recommended to drill these types of slabs, lest you may hit one of those cables and damage your foundation.

It's not Mesa safe Co. it's Safe City. they will deliver it inside your home and lag it to the floor for you also. Here's the info:

Safe City
240 E Coury Ave # 130
Mesa, AZ
(480) 497-3882

The guy is a "gun guy" so he's good to go! He gave me a great deal and only charged me $75 to deliver it inside my house in the room I wanted it in and set it up and showed me how the lock works etc.

Someone here recommended him a while back...

Give Al's Locksmithing a call and ask for Justin.  He should be able to give you a decent price.

I just wanted to reactivate this thread as I recently had the pleasure of doing business with "Rick" again over at Safe City. The guy is so good to deal with! I just wanted to say he will be at the gun show this weekend. His name is Rick Crosby and please tell him I told you about him. A guy like this deserves all our business! I also want to say if anyone needs passport photos he has a great setup at his safe store and for $10 you get two perfect photos! I went to wallgreens and made a big mistake they came out with a red tint and were not acceptable.
