They're looking at you through a microscope  Paranoid now?  j/k..Sometimes there is a delay because they only send the new permits to the laminator about once every 2 weeks. You might have just got it in there right after they sent the last batch and then you had the holiday.. Or, the FBI might be busy with the Katrina stuff and there might be some type of delay. I mailed mine today...let's see how long it takes. I noticed on the application it stated 45 days as the time allotted. Basically they don't want to hear from you unless it has been over 45 days. So, I'm guessing the turn around time would be under 45 days as a normal practice and if it goes over 45 days most likely YOU got a problem. -John

I mailed mine on Sept 22 and got it in the mail this past Saturday, October 8th. That was 16 calendar days or 11 business days. Not bad turn around! I'm happy! -John
