| So what are your favorites as far as overall customer service and selection, and which ones aren't so great? |
|
Scottsdale Gun Center is a good place for 'discount' guns at near wholesale, but don't look for a lot of accessories or gun store chit chat, just go in, buy what you want and fill out the 4473. A good "full service" gun store with a selection of guns, acessories and ammo is Bear Arms, also in Scottsdale. Big Bore on Bell Road in N. Phoenix is a .45 guy, but he also stocks useful tactical gear, pouches, vests, Aim Points, Trijicons, Eotechs, rails, XM193 and M855 ammo and things of a military vein if you like that stuff or need it for work. |
Hmmm, Chaos and I BS'd with them for an hour or two when we where there |
I've bought 2 guns from them and they have great prices. It's hit and miss on BSing with them. Sometimes I'll talk with them for an hour and other times they are busy and it's in and out... Nice people though. Pistol Parlor is great too. |
Usually when I've been there it's super busy, numerous customers filling out yellow forms, etc. They seem like good guys, but I think the business plan is "VOLUME" and that precludes alot of the normal barber shop chattiness you get in traditional gun shops. |
