I live off Val Vista and Southern, we have gotten pounded by rain tonite.

I suspect most of the East valley is wet, and most of the surrounding desert also.

If the desert is wet, then shooting and riding restrictions should be lifted. The forest service needs to be advised.

I was thinking this about 2 hours ago... "FIRE DANGER VERY HIGH TODAY" the sign said..

Theres no way in hell anything would have burned at that point in time.

I saw yesterday that they opened Tonto back up. Check the Forest Sevrice web site for updates.
