Greetings, Where is a good place to take the 16 hour CCW course in the East Valley area? Thanks, TS |
| I took mine at Caswells about 2 years ago. I guess some folks here don't like them. I wouldn't buy guns or ammo from them but I do shoot there occasionally. I found the owner was a real nice guy who had been in a couple shootouts. He was also the one who did most of the training. |
Prebans and myself are both CCW Instructors and we're waiting on the new agenda from DPS so we can plan our classes. Prebans is in the East Valley and I am in Casa Grande. We can't give date specific classes here or price because we were told it violate's the CoC. (Specifically, the EE rules) Contact him by email for more info.. |

Great info guys! We will be moved in after the 11th, so this will workout well for us. AZ_Redneck, my wife wants to get her CCW as well. We are in the Chandler area. Would Prebans' class be appropriate for her too? I know there are the women only classes, but she wanted to take the class with me. Thanks for the info. TS |
I've never held a "womans only" class.. Almost every class I have had has been both men and women. Most of the time the guys get their permits with their wives. There was one time when a gun shop owner friend of mine had a female "friend" *cough prostitute* who wanted her CCW and didn't want to take a class with other people. So I gave her private instruction. She paid cash and only took 4 hours. Never saw her again after that... And, before you guys start thinking nasty stuff, NOTHING happened..She paid ME cash and left...(I felt so cheap afterwards...) ![]() |
Mike is the best! I don't know Paul, but I'm sure he's a good guy, too! -John ![]() |
