Has anyone heard of Diamond Kote? I looked into it but I don't want to ship my gun all the way to east coast. anyone around here do this kind of work? Thanks |

There are several refinishing places around, but I don't know if any of them use Diamond Kote. In Tucson is Mac's Shootin Irons. I believe he uses GunKote. I've never used his services, but friends tell me he does a good job. In Phoenix is Arizoan Expert Arms, Arizona Response Systems, Robar, and others. You could also do it yourself. I like Norrel's Molycoat, but GunKote is available also. It really isn't that hard to do. I've refinished an AK, a bunch of mags, and a pistol. All came out looking great. |
