You could see it from where I live over in Glendale. It just made me think about the property it's already taken, and what it's going to take. Anyone else see it from the valley last night?

Yeah, I can see it.  Few nights ago the flames were within a mile of my house and evacuation was being discussed.

Ya I noticed it yesterday so a friend and me went up to get a better view and ended up at sunset point.  Its so cool to see it from relatively closely during night time hours.

This fire is our least worry. Our real worry is controlling the fucking borders. Wake up! Don't just be a fucking dumb taxpayer.

I saw flames from way down in southern Chandler.  I couldn't believe it.  I figure I must have been nearly 50 miles away.  The flames were right at the top of a ridge or peak.  Sun was had set but there was still some light out.

Those must have been some serious flames to be visible from 45 or 50 miles.  It wasn't just a glow, I could make out lapping flames.

When the flames are marching towards YOUR house remind me how the borders are more important.

It kind of takes a back seat when you can see the fire eating desert in your direction.

BTW, I thought I had seen the last of his fire.  This AM went out for some exercise and the wind must have shifted or something.  A smoky haze every direction here.
