I have a 1911 I want to get a pimpn' shiny blue finish on. Do you guys recomend any refinishers in the valley? |
| There are very few smiths who do bluing here in town. I would recommend Weapon Works, but I'm biased. Also, it really depends how shiny you want it. Weapon Works can duplicate Colt Series 70 factory blue, but it's possible to go shinier than that. If you do, it gets into expensive hand polishing. I don;t know anyone local who does that level of bluing, though you can call Weapon Works tomorrow at (602) 995-3010 and ask for Tom. |
