Went to this today. It was fairly disappointing. It seems like each time there are more non-gun items and less guns.

Didn't see any huge bargains but there were a few nice guns. Some of my favorites to long for were a 4" Colt Anaconda for $695, a 1969 Manufacture Belgium Browning High-Power for $895, a Polish Tokarev for $280, a Kimber Custom Eclipse II in 10mm for $880, and a Colt LE6920 for $1299. Someone also had a Taser for sale, and although I have no idea why, I kind of want one.

On the Black Rifle front, there was a booth from a DPMS distributor. This is the same guy who is at all the Tucson area shows. He stocks uppers, lowers, and complete rifles and his prices are good. Seems like a nice enough guy although I've never bought anything from him.

There was a gentleman who said he was based out of Texas who was selling Stag Arms stripped lowers. He had plain ones for $110 and ones marked "For Law Enforcement Use Only." for $175.
This was the guy who had a Colt 6920 for $1299 and he was taking preorders for more at that price. There were a few other fucktards who were trying to get $1600-1700 for their 6920's.

Bear Arms out of Scottsdale had a couple of lowers from Bushmaster, and of course some complete rifles. His prices are pretty good and he keeps alot of stock. Speaking of Bushmaster there were probably four or five people selling complete rifles, mostly the M4 clones, for reasonable prices.

Finally there was one other gentleman selling stripped lowers from L.A.R Grizzly for $140.

I ended up buying just a stripped bushmaster lower from Bear Arms. It was a reasonable price (just slightly more than I would have paid through the Equipment Exchange once shipping and transfer fees were figured in) and I don't have to deal with the transfer hassle.

edited: to fix a price.

One of the reasons for the "LAME SHOW" was there was just a show two weeks ago at the convention center.  I talked to the guy from Bear Arms, and I'm surprised that he even came back down.  He had indicated that he wasn't going to......

$140 for Grizzly lowers is WAY too much......

Maybe the next show in June will be better....

But, what do I know.....

I saw a really kickass bag of beef jerkey(maybe 4 pieces) for 8 dollars there. I didn't buy it though I left it for some other sucker.
