I receieved some patches that I ordered today (2 us flag patches in desert and 2 round patches) Now I need to have velcro attached to the back of them.  What is the best way?

I really don't use a needle and thread too much, I can put a button on, but that's about it.  I was thinking hot glue or super glue or something, but wasn't sure if it would hold the velcro too well or got though the patch.

Any ideas??

Use the wide Velcro that has adhesive on the back

If you need a couple of pieces let me know via IM

see if there is a dry cleaner that does repairs in your area, bring the velcro and patches to them and see if they will sew them together.  or find an Air Force type to take them to the on post AAFES sew shop where they will do it for sure.

I was thinking about that.  I know there is an embroidery shop not too far away that I might call tomorrow and see if they can sew it.  Hey Dpmmm, I'll IM you, I can use a few strips....

Ianq, where do you live? Phoenix or in Tucson area respectively?

If you are in Tucson... I can tell you specifically were to go to get it done.

You can always use a hot glue gun to attach the Velcro to the patches.
It's worked well for me.

I always go to Johns Uniforms on McDowell... it's near where the 51 crosses McDowell, but I forget the address.  South side of the street.  They mostly do cop stuff, but they do my army uniforms and I've had some oddball stuff sewn there.

I avoid that place.  When I have to buy my gear I use Martins... Johns over charges.  But thanks for the idea, I might try Martins...
