| ok, this is a total "for instance" kinda thing. could I get in trouble if I were to video tape stupid drivers? I swear that comming from the east valley I have to see the worlds most stupid and wreckless drivers. What can happen if I video tape these people being stupid, and submit the tapes to the police? maybe get an officer to these areas to curtail the bad driving habits? |

far east.. power and the 60 area.. folks always running red lights, going through yellow lights blocking the intersection so opposing traffic can't get through because the rat bastards want to save themself a minute. oh yeah.. and if you have a full size pickup and can see into peoples vehicles, you can see them reading books, taking notes, , smacking kids in the back seat, taking their eyes off the road to look on the floor board for something, fingering themself (yes i've even seen that and wished i had my camera) all while driving WAY above the speed LIMIT on the 60... oh yeah.. and those freakin godless hun bastards that use cell phones WHILE slapping their kids in the back seat and stuffing a big mack into their face.... did that get it this time around? |

I was thinking more along the lines of a police type dash mounted cam kinda thing, just so i wouldn't have to be stupid too, i have thought about that. but i havent' thought about just standing there with my camera though.. good idea.... |
Well, unless you have an officially calibrated speedo that is hooked into that video cam, you can forget any speeding violation "catches" you might make, since there'd be no way to prove someone was speeding or what speed they were going. There is a reason all those cop dash cams have the date, time, speed, direction, etc., superimposed onto the recording. |
| ok... we're drifting too far off here.. everyone knows that a marked unit is a blazing sign that says to everyone "Be Good" and everyone drives all nice and stuff... thats why being a DPS officer isn't gonna be any good in THIS case... my argument isnt against the folks speeding only.. it's mainly against the other blatent safety fuck ups i see.... |

it was on the 60 west bound into phoenix around the mill offramp, i was lookin over to change lanes and here was this hot lil blonde wearin a skirt drivin down the road with her hand shoved between her legs... so being the ever curteous driver that i am... i didn't merge right away, just waiting patiently for traffic to open up.. and her hand didn't move away.. well.. she notices me lookin over and speeds up letting me make my lane change..... now, i could be wrong.. but if my guess is right.. she wasn't keepin her hand there to polish her nails...

I know WAY more about the cav than i really wanted to.. We had an Army officer that was with the cav in our Regt.... the fucker made us learn that freakin song by singin it all the damn time.....

You have to realize, in teh PRK, going through a yellow light is a near capital offense. If you are not OUT of the intersection when it turns red (defined as your rear axle across the imaginary crosswalk line of the sidewalk on the FAR side of the direction of travel), you ran a red light. This is also the state that says it's OK to carry an open firearm, as long as it's unloaded and you have no ammo on your person. I am SO glad I left that fucked up place. |
ok.. the question is fair... i enlisted in the Marine Corps in 1992, went to boot camp on 6 july 1993, graduated platoon 1042 SDI S/Sgt Crane, S/Sgt Winn, Sgt Gaspero, and Sgt Hensen, on 1 oct 1993. after MCT, i went to Artillery Scout Observer school (MASOC class 501) at Ft. Still, OK graduated 17 december 1993 taught by M/Sgt Highsmith. from there i was sent to NAB Coronado for naval gunfire school (2 week course to seperate arty CFF and NGF CFF) taught by GySgt, later M/Sgt McGrath. on 24 january 1994 i was sent to 11th Marine Regiment at camp Las Pulgas on Camp Pendleton , CA to serve as an 0861 (my MOS) Artillery Forward observer.. my EAS was 5 july 1997, but i had 64 days terminal leave, so i took those and had a good time for a couple months. any more questions ,or would you like me to print out an SF180 form and sign it so YOU can get my military records? as for the OPSEC shit.. come on dude.. my hobby is routing out phonies in my spare time, which there is little of.. scared of my shadow? sheesh.. i ask a flippin question about asshole drivers to see what i can do to help and i'm scared of my shadow? i value my life and the safety of those around me and i'm scared of my shadow? i state that i happen to agree with weapons training and i'm scared of my shadow? dude.. fuck you.. i'm about safety and enjoying the sport of shooting and not get hurt or hurt someone else |

ok.. i was taken out of context here too... go check out power road and the 60 off/on ramp area at about noon to 1pm... you'll notice that folks comming off the 60 east bound try to get through the light and block traffic for opposing traffic, just so they can make a few extra seconds, but in turn fuck everyone else.. or comming onto the 60 west bound there too, folks comming south on power road will not even stop at a red light and cut other folks off who have a protected green turn light to access the 60... i'm not supposed to get pissed because someone cuts me off or fucks up traffic ahead of me???? jesus fuckin christ, mary, joseph, and the god damned donkey... i'm just trying to find a legal way of trying to help out and get folks to realise there's more than just them on the road.. but no.. i guess it's not ment to be |

I know the 105mm is just a pea shooter when it comes to NGF and 8" arty... but a dipshit major who was the BN FSO... was registering a target at Ft. Bragg, and he made a gross adjustment... put the round behind us... about 40 meters away from us... in a ravine. I was an E5... and I came fucking unglued... I kept my rank though... We got a new FSO after that... and I had a stern talking to on how to address field grades. Y- |
this all started because Sinistralrifleman misunderstood what i said in another topic.... the fucker can't admit he fucked up, fine.. dont fuck with me over it, and all his friends come to his aid, thats fine too, but i'll be damned if i stand by and be personally attacked for some guy being an asshole... this is what i said .. just voicing my opinion (this IS still America isn't it?) I'm not so much in favor of a lifetime CCW, just like the military, if you don't qualify you dont use a weapon. I'd like that a qualification at least be taken every few years, because shooting is a learned skill that if you dont use, you lose. I'd also like to have the NCIS waived too. anyone that has had issues with ID theft will agree with me that having the waiver is a great thing. If they do go through with the lifetime issuance, why not have it so a person can have an added sticker or stamp to their CCW so they can be waived on the NCIS checks by going through a refresher course every 4th or 5th year? now THAT i would be in favor of. from that, he states that i want to REQUIRE everyone to qualify and go through more training and picks out sentences and interjects "what if's".. damn man.. if if's and nuts were candy and nuts we'd all have a merry flippin christmas.... i just dont dig being called a coward, or ignorant when it's what i said that was taken WAY out of context...... and people dont READ everything THEN make up their mind... they only extrapolate what they want to read and leave the rest by the wayside....fuck it.. i'm off work in a few minutes.. time to go home and have a beer.... |

My suggestion stood exclusive of any or all of the tiff and conflict points you've made with any of the Cav crew or anyone else. Old advice is best advice. PS.
