Howdy. Question for the locals. I have a transfer(shotgun) I've been waiting for. I have the tracking number from the shipper. It shows it has been delivered and the notes say it the package has been left at the front door, no signature required. The local FFL does business at his home. He has no fence or gate, the package is left open to Johnny-Q-public if anyone walks up to his door. Since he is not answering calls, I was thinking maybe I should go retrieve it. I wouldn't open it, and would call him to let him know. I would take it back after making contact and let him open it and do his paperwork properly. I just don't feel safe with a firearm left in the open, let alone I don't know who would be responsible for the loss if it got stolen. What do you think? |
