Hey guys... I posted this in the equipment exchange feedback forum but thought I should give a link here as this deals with an AZ boy. Moderator, if this is not allowed I am sorry and please delete this post, I hope it is not a problem I just wanted to make sure that people are aware of this guy. I appreciate the information, bro! I hate it when people get ripped off. Do as others have advised you and file the necessary paperwork, continue checking on it just often enough to let them know you are serious and will take it to whatever level you must to get some satisfaction, and know that I have never heard of this clown before. His story seems mighty fishy to me. Your other recourse would be to consult a lawyer. With all of the e-commerce, there are laws now for Internet fraud (like postal fraud) and this is clearly a case of that. Since he represented himself as an FFL, any business lawyer will take this case with a very small retainer and you'll receive much better results. Internet fraud is actually tort law, now. Business/Corporate lawyers are much more thorough than private lawyers, and the cases are handled much quicker. They are more expensive, though, of course. Just a thought in case nothing else is working, and any business lawyer will represent a private citizen against a claimed business entity. Print up the EE thread from which you purchased the weapons. Again, I am honestly sorry to hear about your loss. We here in the AZ forum are good people (though our language is harsh at times) and it sucks to have a betrayer in your midst. What a slimebag. If I can be of any help on this end, IM me. |

Near Kingman if that helps at all... I really dont know that part of the state at all myself.
Does anyone here know anyone who I can start the whole claim with? I am going to start calling the Sheriff and all in the morning but just thought I would see if someone had an inside contact for me to start with to stop some of the run around. Thank you for everyones help and support! |

Ed Avila & i & some others were bilked by a mag. scammer in Alabama a year ago, we contacted the DA in that county, notified the sheriff, filed fraud complaints with the USPS & UPS...., i got back my $475.00 minus $10 the scammer took out for "fees" incured to return my money..., go the legal route & you will get satisfaction !! |

Just an update I have been sending out my info pack which has a full letter telling what happened and documents about most of it to The County Sheriffs office in his area. The Courts in his area. The BATFE The AZ Dept of Public Safety Anyone have any other suggestions and or addresses? Thanks for the help! |
I suggest you contact a MCSO deputy/detective. Sending out packets unsolicited is not likely to produce results. MCSO should have a fraud detective already on the case (from what I've read) and you would need to contact him/her. |
