My old high school buddy's son is going in to the Army and I'm going to surprise them by showing up at his going away party in Maricopa County.  I'm flying down from Washington.  The plan is to just stay one night and then fly back.  I'm trying to decide if I should plan a second day in the Phoenix area just for some fun.  This will be the weekend of 02/13.

So are there any good firearms or car museums or machine gun rental places or other cool things in the Phoenix area to make an extra day worthwhile.

Oh and I promise I won't stay any longer.  I need to be regularly rained upon to stay healthy.MACE

IM me and we'll go out for a beer.  You'll need the extra day to sleep and recover

Scottsdale gun club = +1 to rent machine guns.  Fun, fun times.

Go out to the desert and blow up tannerite.

Phoenix historical museum, which has all kinds of mining stuff if you are interested in that.  Same with the geological and art museums.

If you're single, IM me and we'll go to a place I know for hot womenz.

Also, if you want to skip the hotel costs, I have a house up for rent right now (water, electric, etc is all on) you can stay in for free.  Hot tub in the back, fully fuctional and already warmed up.  You're welcome to stay in it for the days you'll be here...  IM for details.

Strange.... I have been here all my life and so far I am drawing a blank besides museums, drinking, picking up women, and shooting.  I think I need to reevaluate my priorities, LOL.

Feel free to IM me if I can help.

richardh247, what an outstanding offer.  You rock.

Unfortunately, the family I was visiting has cancelled the party.  Too many livestock are due to birth at the same time to deal with a house full of visitors.  So it goes.

I will def check out that range next time I'm in town.  I've always wanted to play with a Glock 18.
